As stated in the mission statement, SAL focus on all round development of the students. The Institute lays emphasis on social responsibility in addition to academic rigour in all the programs. Accordingly, thrust is given on providing activities, which enable personality development, confidence building, industry exposure, & enhancing communication skills. Special lectures, seminars, workshops and other programs for the students are regularly organized in the institute.

Faculty plays a very vital role in the nurturing development of the students. Faculty development activities give importance right from the inception. The Institute plans for Establishment of postgraduate programs in various engineering disciplines for research activities in the near future.

Ph.D. Programs in different areas of expertise are being offered on the campus. The institute has highly qualified and dedicated faculty, supporting staff, talented students, and most of all a supportive management at the helm. SAL dream is to make the Institute, an Institution of international reputation, and as the Institute move gradually towards the goal, it is increasingly inspired to achieve it.

MoU’s with well-known institutions and industries have enhanced the networking. Placement of students for industry training during the summer has been benefiting the students to a large extent. During the final semester, students are placed in reputed industries or R&D organizations in India for their project work.
