The Department of Computer Applications at SAL Institute of Technology and Engineering Research organized an industrial visit to Odoo India IT Company on 18 March 2026 for BCA Semester 2 and 4 students. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to the IT industry and real-world professional practices. It was coordinated by Dr. Khyati Rami, Prof. Prashant Halavadiya, Prof. Nairutvi Mistry, and Prof. Jahnvee Mistry. Students learned about software development workflows, business processes, professional work culture, and modern industry tools and technologies. The experience improved their technical knowledge, industry awareness, and career readiness. Information was also shared about Odoo Hackathon 2026, highlighting opportunities for skill development, industry exposure, innovation, and future career growth.
