Civil Engineering Department has started Post graduate programme in Structural Engineering affiliated with Gujarat Technological University in year 2013 having starting intake of 15 nos. and presently it is 24 nos. Well-equipped laboratories like Material Testing and Concrete lab offer testing and project work services in all aspects. The department also organizes Training Programmes and workshops for students as well as professionals from time to time.

PG course offering Specialization in Structural Engineering which includes Advanced structural analysis, Advanced design of R.C.C. and Steel structures, Structural dynamics & Earthquake Engineering, Structural Optimization and Structural design project work that provides sound technical knowledge for students to understand the realistic practical approach of field work.

The Structural Engineering area is crucial part as it directly impacts the safety and durability of buildings and structures. Structural Engineering plays a crucial role by visual appeal, practical function and budgetary resources in a way that satisfies all needs.
